Oriental Moment

This painting makes me feel very calm. It was lovely to paint and I think it's lovely to look at. The beauty of the Chinese tea pot and cup are complimented by the orchid creating an overall oriental feel. The blue background makes the painting feel calm as the ocean on a still day.
